The main task of home public health service is to increase the lifetime of Kazakhstan citizens. It is the major parameter, which shows the level of development of the country. Minister of Health of the Republic Anatoly Dernovoi informed at the third republican congress of physicians and pharmacists of Kazakhstan.
More than one thousand doctors from Kazakhstan and their colleagues from other countries gathered in Astana to discuss the further development of medicine. The health of Kazakhstani medicine is still under steadfast observation of the experts. Though in spite of some substantial improvements, reforms in our public health are not finished yet.
Kanat Saudabaev, State secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan: - Today it is necessary that not only the well-off people, but first of all the most vulnerable layers of the population had the guaranteed access to qualitative medical service. And we should do our best in order not to reiterate the shymkent tragedy.
Kanat Saudabaev noted, that the serious responsibility lies with the physicians to form the national quality standard of life. Minister Anatoly Dernovoi informed that system decisions are necessary for solving the problems of home public health service.
Financing of medical branch increased for three times during last five years. New hospitals and clinics were opened in our country, problems with the medicines are solved, charges of the patients increase annually and the salary of physicians was trebled.
Anatoly Dernovo, Minister of Health of the Rpublic of Kazakhstan: - Unfortunately, it is necessary to admit, that the efforts of Kazakhstan public health service are directed to the measures of medical character, but not to the preventive measures of diseases. And the population is not focused on protection of own health. High percent of the diseases revealed in late stages is the evidence of this fact.
