A nation-wide competition entitled "Vienna is the heart of Europe" has started in Kazakhstan. Such organizers as the Football Federation of Kazakhstan, the Foreign Office, the Embassy of Austria in Kazakhstan and "Austrian Airlines" all noted that Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship is believed to be a splendid opportunity for Kazakhstan to become closer to the political, cultural and economic life of Europe.
Anyone can answer the quiz questions on www.kff.kz and send them to konkurs@kff.kz before the 16th of August. The main prize is a trip to Vienna for four days and two tickets to the Austria-Kazakhstan football match. The UEFA European Football Championship, the final tournament of which will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine in summer 2012, starts specifically with this qualifying match. The organizers promised to announce the competition winners on the 23rd of August in Astana. And Vienna is also said to be the closest European capital in a sense.
